For me, landscape photography means experiencing nature with all my senses. Since I started this hobby in 2011, it has gripped me and never let go. You experience and see nature with different eyes.
For good shots you have to leave the comfort zone, get up early, look for motifs in cold and snow or hike up the mountains in the heat and wait for the right moment.
All this costs sweat and effort, but the reward is even more beautiful. Far away from mass tourism you can discover unique places. Landscape photography is very dependent on the weather and often has to do with luck.
In my works I try to capture these natural beauties and "give the moment time". In my photographs, I would like to convey the impression of how I experienced it on site and draw the viewer into the picture. That's why I try not to change too much in retrospect, in the image processing, and to give back the light naturally.
I usually use different ND filters in my shots to produce the finished photo mostly in the camera and to have less effort for post-processing.
Of course I would like to present my photographic works and share them with you.
I wish you a lot of fun on my website!
